Print

The project was based on our immediate space and how we influence it. After a few brainstorming sessions I decided to go for a simple base plate that I could alter and customize, just as we do when we interact with our environment. I wanted to create a series of images showing how changes in our surroundings can affect us.

 Bed.
 Recession.
This is a follow-on from the recession print.
 Rising petrol prices.
Having a cold from the very first day of print until the very last day was worthy of getting a print because of how much it affected me and my surroundings.
How cannabis and other psychedelic drugs can cause you to have an altered perception of reality.
How having too much money can influence us to take hard drugs.
Being drunk. I repeated one print 3 times without re-inking my base plate and placed them slightly offset from each other to give an optical illusion similar to being drunk. I added "beer goggles" by placing pint glasses over the eye area. The beer bottle mouth is puckered up and ready for a kiss

Putting blood, sweat and tears into my work.
